Advocates has sent a joint letter on behalf of safety organizations to Members of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee ahead of tomorrow’s hearing “Oversight of the Department of Transportation’s Policies and Programs and Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Request.” In it, the group highlights the ongoing crisis on our roadways and funding needed for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to fulfill its safety mandate.
