Motorcycles are the most hazardous form of motor vehicle transportation, and fatalities are rising. Motorcycle riders are nearly 28 times more likely to die in a crash than passenger vehicle occupants. In 2022, 33 motorcyclists lost their lives in Hawaii, and 68 percent were not wearing a helmet when helmet use was known. Read our letter of support for House Bill 537.
