Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety urges Texas Governor Greg Abbott to sign House Bill (HB) 62, which would prohibit drivers from using wireless communications devices to read, write or send messages while operating a motor vehicle. Distracted driving is a serious public health and safety problem and we commend the Texas Legislature for passing this lifesaving legislation.
