Advocates Urges New York State Senate to Enact Used Car Safety Bill

On May 16, 2022, Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety (Advocates) sent a letter to the New York State Senate Committee on Consumer Protection in support of Senate Bill (S.) 148/Assembly Bill (A.) 6041 to require dealers to determine if a used car is subject to an open safety recall and to repair the defect prior to selling the vehicle.  To read the full letter CLICK HERE.
