Safety Groups Urge Maryland Lawmakers to Reject Bill That Would Repeal the State’s All-Rider Motorcycle Helmet Requirement

On March 15, 2022, Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety (Advocates), the Emergency Nurses Association (MDENA), Partnership for a Safer Maryland and the Skilled Motorcyclist Association – Responsible, Trained and Educated Riders, Inc. (SMARTER), submitted a statement to the Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee opposing Senate Bill (SB) 745, legislation that would repeal Maryland’s all-rider motorcycle helmet law.  To read the full letter CLICK HERE.
