MD: Gov. Moore Should Sign Legislation Aimed at Stopping Super Speeders

Advocates and other safety groups have come together to urge Maryland Governor Wes Moore (D) to sign HB 107 and SB 366 into law. These bills establish a statewide Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) pilot program that will help make Maryland’s roads safer and prevent serious injuries and fatalities caused by excessive speeding.

The legislation passed by the General Assembly reflects a strong commitment to public safety and innovative solutions. ISA technology has the potential to reduce dangerous driving behavior and save lives.
