Advocates joined safety partners in urging Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers to sign SB 248 to improve the ignition interlock device (IID) law by allowing people convicted of repeat drunk driving offenses and those who refuse a BAC test to install an IID sooner and obtain a restricted driver’s license.

We previously joined our partners to support this legislation in November.
