OH: Advocates Warns Against Reducing the Minimum Driving Age

Advocates opposes HB 395 which would reduce the minimum driving age by six months to 15 years old and increase the number of inexperienced drivers on Ohio roads. If enacted fatal crashes would increase by seven percent and total collision claims by two percent according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) GDL Crash Reduction Calculator.
